can prove to be a challenge. Virtual Drop Zones' Fundraising Program
provides a wonderful solution. With our Fundraising Program, your
membership isn't asked to buy anything and what's more, Virtual Drop Zone
does all the work for you! People always have unwanted and gently used
household items they would be willing to donate. With Virtual Drop Zone,
your organization can turn these donations into cash!
We will assist you in the coordination and promotion of your Drive,
accept your donated items at our drop-off store, sell them on eBay, and
send you the net proceeds. Running a fundraiser has never been so easy!
Step 1: Donation of goods
Virtual Drop Zone will provide your school or
organization with fliers for you to use to announce your fundraising
event. Your membership is directed to participate by bringing items they
would otherwise sell or donate to charity to our drop-off center to be
auctioned on eBay. We include suggestions about what type of donations
will be most successful, as well as a list of items that are ineligible
for auction on eBay. Each item brought into our store will be evaluated
to determine whether it has resale potential on eBay. Once this is done
we go to work!
Step 2: Listing each item for auction on eBay
Virtual Drop Zone professional listing specialists
will further research each donation and provide an effective market
listing on eBay. Each listing will be given an attractive presentation,
complete with digital photographs taken in our in-store photo studio.
During the auction we communicate with potential buyers to enhance each
donation. Once the auctions have completed, we process payments and
carefully package and ship each donation to each buyer.
Step 3: Your organization receives a check
Virtual Drop Zone completes each transaction,
collecting payment from each eBay customer. Then after collecting our
standard Virtual Drop Zone service fee, we send your school or
organization a check for the proceeds. Finally, each donor receives a
donation receipt. It's as easy as that!
